Stress is a part of everyday life. Adults and children alike get anxious. There are many reasons for stress: a lack of money and a concern for daily needs, for example. The largest reason for stress, however, is a change in life. A move to a new home, illness or death in the family, a change in job or employment status. Stress is unavoidable, but we can reduce it by focusing on God and each other. So take some time this week for a special family activity. Make it fun. But, don't forget to begin the activity with prayer. You may find the stress level at your house is a little lower.
